RF Code
provides an active RFID-enabled infrastructure for both real-time asset
management and environmental monitoring across the entire enterprise.
Using active RFID as the enabling technology to automate asset monitoring,
RF Code solutions eliminate the traditional costly, time consuming and
inaccurate asset and environmental monitoring process. Customers know,
in real-time, precise and actionable information about the location,
status and state of their physical assets. Having such dynamic asset
information instantly and at all times leads to better decision making
about asset inventory. The result is better audit compliance, inventory
accuracy, security and environmental status awareness. And typically

Tags
All RF Code asset and sensor tags feature encoded radio transmissions,
low power consumption for long battery life and reduced maintenance
costs, and superior anti-collision technology for high-tag densities.
Tags can include motion and tamper detection sensors, customizable beacon
rates, and a broad variety of mounting and enclosure options.
Readers
RF Code’s family of active readers are used in a variety of environments
and situations that call for asset tracking. When deployed in concert
with RF Code Active RFID tags, our readers give customers an unparalleled
asset tracking solution that provides location precision for all tagged
assets, from the rack-level, through the room-level, to the extended
enterprise. Our readers are easily installed and work well in both wired
and wireless network environments.
Software
RF Code’s software products work in conjucntion with RF Code's tags
and readers to provide complete real-time asset management and environmental
monitoring solutions, providing up-to-the minute information about asset
locations, movement, security and environmental status, without requiring

RF Code
helps you to better manage the time and cost of managing your assets

that by leveraging active RFID to produce wire-free, real-time, low
cost and secure solutions that automate the asset management and environmental
monitoring processes. RF Code solutions are:
Adaptive.
RF Code solutions are comprised of components (tags, readers and software)
that adapt to a customer’s specific need: From a wide variety of tag
and reader form factors to software that is easily configurable to meet
a customer’s asset management needs.

automated. With RF Code, you no longer have to “do inventory,” you
always “have inventory,” in real time and updated automatically every
10-seconds.

open. RF Code open access to our readers and software. Link directly
to the readers, or select the software interface layer(s) that meet
your system needs.

flexibility. RF Code’s software schema is very user-friendly for configuring
and editing custom data fields. The software database easily integrates
into the market’s leading back end systems, adding automated real
time asset information into such systems as Tivoli Maximo, HP’s AssetCenter
and others.

Anti-collision
technology. RF Code’s patented RF communication protocols provide
best-in-industry performance in dense asset environments. A single
reader can process up to 140 records per second: One reader will continuously
monitor 1,400 tagged assets simultaneously, providing 10-second status
updates.
- Exception
reporting. Readers can set to operate in "exception" reporting mode,
where only changes in status will be reported. This eliminates the chaos
of overreporting data and reduces network traffic. Redundant asset reports
are eliminated, vastly simplifying history reports to focus only on
when the status changes.
- Battery
power conservation. RF Code tags are almost always asleep (99.99% of
the time). This translates to long battery life. The total transmission
time for the standard tag (model M100-0010) is 9.34 seconds per day.
Every 10 seconds, the tag will wake-up to broadcast a short sequence
of pulses before going back to sleep.
Low
Cost/Quick ROI.
RF Code solutions are “one and done.” Once you’ve deployed RF Code,
that’s it. No having to scan tags ever.

Affordable
solutions. The entry point for a complete Environmental Monitoring
Starter Pack, from tag-to-glass, with customized system alerting,
includes ten (10) environmental sensor tags, one (1) reader, and the
Sensor Manager software application.
- Scaleable
solutions. RF Code works well either as a stand-alone or integrated
solution. Start with your critical assets. Add environmental sensors.
Write your own software to pull data directly from the readers (open
API), or engage one of our partners to develop a customized solution,
or add layers of RFC software to feed into third-party platforms.
Secure.
RF Code solutions are closed loop, for added security.

Dedicated
frequency. RF Code systems operate at 433.92 MHz; the tags are one-way,
transmit-only communicators; the readers are dedicated to monitoring
for RFC tag transmissions. Add as much hardware as you like; it will
not interfere with, or burden existing wireless systems and communications.
- Secure
transmissions – Tag messages are encoded 'license plate' IDs communicated
through a series of RF pulses. The pulses themselves represent cryptic
alphanumeric codes with no inherent meaning. RF Code readers decode
and report the tag transmissions within their coverage zones. Reader
operational settings are password protected and networked communications
are protected to the same extent as the communication network.
- Networked
readers. RFC readers are networked devices designed for operation in
both wired and wireless environments. Readers installed anywhere in
the US can be configured to operate in real-time with the centralized
application and asset database.
Open.
RF Code solutions are based on open technology standards and support
open standards for easy integration.
