Avocent supports the critical, secure activities of government agencies with the industry’s only NIAP Common Criteria certified KVM switching system.

The Avocent NIAP certified SwitchView® SC KVM switching systems are field-proven, secure solutions for government agencies. SwitchView SC KVM solutions allow you to switch safely between computers operating at different classification levels – all from one switch. With separate I/O processors and 60db separation between channels, the SwitchView SC switch design makes it impossible to transfer data between the connected computers.

With USB peripheral support, the SwitchView SC4 UAD switch supports USB keyboards and mice, audio and DVI-I video for resolution up to 1920x1200 @ 60Hz.

The SwitchView SC switching system agency approval includes NIAP Common Criteria validation to EAL 4 – a first-in-class security compliance in the KVM switching industry.

The SwitchView SC8 DVI switch introduces dual DVI-I video and provides a 2560x1600 @ 60Hz video resolution. It has eight secure channels, which allow you to increase the number of security levels you can monitor. The NIAP certified 4-port SwitchView SC4 DVI switch supports PS/2 computers, keyboards and mice and DVI-I video with a resolution up to 1920x1200 @ 60Hz.

SwitchView SC switch products ensure data integrity between the different classification levels and are the only KVM switches to achieve National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) Common Criteria validation to EAL 4. NIAP is a collaboration of the National Institute of Standards and Technology and the National Security Agency. It oversees information technology security standards called Common Criteria – the essence of NIAP testing.
