The Avocent DSView® 3 Power Manager software adds power monitoring capability to the access and control functions of DSView 3 software.

The addition of Power Manager gives companies the ability to monitor and measure IT energy consumption, and determine costs and trends across all levels within their data centers and remote locations.

Information gathered from supported power devices, such as the Avocent PM PDUs, can be used to generate historical graphs and reports. With that data, IT administrators and managers can consider overall cost and capacity across individual PDUs, racks, rows of racks or entire data centers.
